About Me
Agnes Summerlake in Wageningen, the Netherlands, offers individual and group sessions to help you listen to your body and improve your relationships.
I believe that one of the best ways to recover from relational wounds, is to be able to see yourself through the eyes of loving people. Experiencing that people see you, care for you, and feel into your story, helps to learn about your worth and value.
My hobbies
I have lots of hobbies. I want to write a book and have almost finished an outline. I love to make walks with my dachshund through nature. I like massaging, music and dance. And I feel bubbles of joy rising from my stomach to my heart and face when I think of teaching others how to listen to their bodies.
Praise
I love practicing Summer Focusing. It’s such a fun playground to be with another who is also focused within themselves, and to share from that space of being! So fulfilling, bonding and transformative.
To stay connected within my body is everything. I experienced suffering for most of my life because of over-eating and so I hated to feel my body. It was too uncomfortable. And so now, for the last few years, staying connected to what I’m feeling within my body in all of life situations is my constant meditation. And it’s truly all about creating a safe and beautiful home for myself within myself.
I enjoy the Focusing meditations before writing. They help me to listen to my body and start writing from there. I love writing in the group. This is so important for me because I find that I typically don’t yet have the focus to do it on my own.
I feel much at ease within the group and I feel like the writing and the sharing, is supporting me powerfully to develop and have the courage to be my authentic self, of which is of utmost importance for me.
